Life is a comedy novel

The play follows Khaled, a bored government archive clerk who dreams of escaping his meaningless job. After discovering a book about the transmigration of souls, he begins experiencing different lives. He becomes a scientist, Antony in love with Cleopatra, and a politician involved in a nuclear war. Through these transformations, the play explores his desire for creativity, adventure, love, and freedom from his monotonous life.
